Lovia ("we") cares about your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Lovia iOS app, how we use and protect it, and the control you have. By using Lovia you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and the name you choose to share. We never see your Apple password.
- Profile information: the nickname, avatar, gender, and preferences you provide.
- Chat content: your conversations with AI characters, generated photos, and voice requests. This content is used to provide the service itself (including character memory) and may be used in de-identified form to improve service quality.
- Transaction information: diamond purchase and spending records. Payment is handled by Apple; we never access your card or payment account details.
- Usage data: aggregated statistics about how the app is used, to improve the product.
How we use information
- To provide and maintain the service: conversation generation, character memory, photos, and voice.
- To complete purchases, credit diamonds, and prevent fraud.
- To improve product experience and reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
We use the following third parties to process necessary data: Apple (sign-in and in-app purchases), RevenueCat (purchase receipt processing), and Mixpanel (anonymous usage analytics). Their own privacy policies apply to their processing.
Retention and deletion
Your data is stored on our servers for no longer than necessary for the purposes above. You may permanently delete your account at any time in the app under Settings - Delete Account: chats, memories, favorites, and profile are erased and cannot be recovered; transaction details are retained only as aggregates containing no personal identifiers, for financial statistics.
Minors
Lovia is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18 (or the age of majority in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
AI-generated content
All characters in Lovia and their conversations, photos, and voices are generated by artificial intelligence, do not represent real people, and should not be treated as professional advice.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be announced in the app. Updates take effect upon publication.
